Abstract Introduction Hepatic neoformations should always be adequately evaluated, even if they are suspected of being benign. We present a case hepatic adenoma that turned out to hepatocarcinoma. Clinical A 38-year-old woman was admitted the general surgery clinic due ultrasound finding neoplasm. Preoperative imaging tests and biopsy led diagnosis adenoma. An abdominal CT scan showed polylobulated expansive lesion occupying almost completely segments 5, 6 8 (11 cm) an additional in S8 (15 mm). The main contact with right vein, middle retrohepatic vena cava, portal vein bifurcation.
